Description
I walked along the river bar yesterday and spotted these rocks. It was almost as though they were posing for me.
Zoom is good.

Great comp Marilyn.
I think I would have gave them a home.the upper right is especially interesting
cool shot x
nice shot...
What a variety! The sand is so dark, I suppose those are the stones that make the sand.
And I take to the middle one...it appears to epidomize sandstone in my mind's eye. Great natural collection at your feet.
They do look as if they were just waiting to be clicked! Well seen and captured Mar!!! I took a load of pics of rocks in Namibia too... They are fascinating! :)
I like the little hole in the left one.
Zoom was good, I sometimes walk the river and always bring home a couple to add to my rock garden, very nice rocks indeed and I really like the colour.
You found some really cool one's Marilyn, nice capture

The power of Three :)..Nice one sweetie.
They look great against the dark sand; excellent capture!
very beautiful!
awesome rocks warm hug, Linda
Stellar clarity, and a nice variety of colors and textures displayed in this excellent macro, Marilyn! I especially like the marbled one on the left. Good contrast against the dark background really pops them out.
love the capture...well done..!!!
wonderful looking
Great Find.The colours are fabulous!
If I didn't know better, I would swear you lined these up. Cool shot!
Amazing natural arrangement. They do look naturally posed. Great textures, I love the grit, the various textures of the rocks themselves, and the small pits and dimples and such that cause interesting byplay between light and shadow. The colors are delicious--rich and subtle and wonderfully captured. You and your titles! How do you come up with them? Well, however you do it, just keep on doing it. I love them as much as I love the photos they go with.
Rocks can put on all kinds of shows, and if you're looking you'll find them. Nice contrast between them, sitting on a fine bed of fine-hewn pebbles, and the piece has a grain that matches the sand and smaller stones. Sensitive capture of some beautiful 'creatures'. And I love all the stuff in the background...
