Great song and photo, but now I have the tunes stuck in my head!
an excellent shot...and a wonderful illustration for the song...smile
I am sure you have seen old cars with trees growing actually inside of the body and protruding out, showing just how long the car had been abandoned.excellent pov
wonderful find and capture!
muy buena imagen, felicidades.
Fabulous and moody. I am a huge car nut and this grabbed my attention immediately. I believe the car in the background is a 1952 Lincoln; I'm not too sure about the one in the foreground. The black and white works brilliantly and makes the picture amazingly forlorn and almost painful; it feels like a metaphor for the fading of America's past glories. I can settle down with this picture and explore its details for a long time. I love the Neil Young quote; it fits perfectly.
Well they do say that rust never sleeps, I used to find some of the old cars in the scrub and was lucky enough to find and old tool on occasions in the boot, this brings back a lot of good memories. Good capture.
Great comment on values. A pity that these old timers are just rusting away.
funny i was just hearing that phrase in my mind today.....so true and image lends well to the phrase
