Description
Just for comparison, this is a bow detail of the last of the three sister steamers still in service with Salters.
As can be seen, this is Reading which was built in 1901 and was still going strong when I took this photo in 2002. Incidentally, sometime during the early 1990's, Reading was withdrawn from service but has since been brought back into use as the popularity of river cruises increased in recent years.
It shows what Marlow may have looked like if it had not been withdrawn from service.
