Description
I have 2 of these growing in my garden, this one at the side (hedgerow) and the other sort of in the rockery, (which used to be just covered with ivy till I pulled it all up, dug down, planted various flowers, seeds and bulbs) I am sure they are not something I introduced so must put the blame on the birds that so love the garden. Poppy or not, it sure is beautiful and my favourite colour too!!
(Taken with my little 'point and click' Samsung L700, I just love it!)
I hope you like and thanks for looking!
Hugz Jen :o)

I don't think it's a poppy; Andrea probably knows what it is. Anemone, perhaps? Beautiful flower!
Looks like a clemitis (not sure that's spelled right) flower. It's a vine and there are numerous varieties. Great shot!
Denise is correct ... it's an anemone. Beautiful!!!
