Description
This is an old shot of a hibiscus I found in Huntington Beach a couple of years ago. A little crop, some light and voila!!

powerful, and the texture really is amazing...the petals almost look like lettuce or napa or something similar. The join of the stamens to the flower are articulated with saturated red & shadow, and they look like a vibrant painting. Very exciting, and it's an amazingly vital flower. Some of the stamens facing us look like they're burnt! Lots of textures in this shot, showing us all that 'happens' in the universe of a single flower. One of the many revelations of your gallery...
