Description
Special thanks to Sean (aka Lasukie) for this fabulous cool gift of Sky Pack. These are some really unique and wonderful sky and space backgrounds that make for some great fantasy pics.
I used Emanuelle (by Syltermermaid) to create this character. Emanuelle has this regalness to her face and so I wanted to turn her into an Egyptian goddess. I tried to give her an expression of serene wisdom and strength.
Bat was the deification of the cosmos and the Milky Way within Egyptian mythology during the pre-dynastic and Old Kingdom periods of Ancient Egyptian history. As a representation of the cosmos she was also thought of as the essence of the human soul. Bat became strongly associated with the ankh, a symbol that was associated with ba, as it represented life. She is depicted in paintings and scuptures as either a cowlike creature surrounded by stars or in human form. Obviously, I went with the human form.
Hope you enjoyed the bit of Egyptian mythology! Please zoom on this for details.
Thanks soooo much for your comments and favs on my last picture. I appreciate it!

I love this render because it does really remind me of the egyptian art style. The frame does increase that very nice impression. The background is perfect because it does match the characters'"identity". Thank you for the explanations on Bat... ;) Splendid outfit and textures...

Lori this is fantastic as always, your images alawys have such a presence. Wonderful work and thank you for the background info too :)
Mmmm...instant fav on my part. Your frames work perfectly with this background set and should be sold as a package! I love the solid use of blue throughout the composition with all sorts of subtle shades and tones but each region well defined. This girl is a great choice. Costuming is spot on. Facial expression is of "I am smart and I know it."
