Description
Subtitle: White on White
I don't do much in the Abstract Genre but looking in my files this morning, this caught my eye. I've been passing it by for quite awhile. Some of you may say I should have continued to pass it by:-)
But I like it. Also did not sharpen to retain the softer look.
Thanks for all your wonderful comments and support...they keep the home fires burning.
Bill
THE REVEAL:
Photo taken through the glass of my back door with my West Highland Terrier only giving us the back of her head.
Worth a zoom:)

Cool shot Bill! Looks like it might be your dog?
I like this idea! Great one! 5
marvelous image!
Hey Mandy, had a bath and got all whited out did ya? Didn't think you could be that still for a photo session. Good shooting Bill. ;-) Skipper
Great image I don't think it should be passed by, great study of texture here, and I am profoundly envious of this as a balding man LOL!
Great image and idea !! Fantastic work ! :)
:) Neat! I was going to say it looked like dog or cat hair. I like it.
Oh man! I bet that sheds fierce. Nice close-up.
So good I knew from the texture this was animal and not human.
need to see more of her...
It does make a great abstract... good job!
Fabulous! I love it, Bill!
Knew it immediately from the thumb. :) Nice abstract shot, Bill!
Wonderful! She's a cutie, even in abstract.
A nice mop of doggy hair here Bill, your dog looks lovely and clean. I always find shots like this interesting due to the texturing
I like the composition. My eye follows the graceful curves, back and around and back again. I'm glad you decided to quit passing this one by!
understated and fitting the title well, nice shot
very clean hair a different shot!
I like this. I wondered what it must be and then came to the conclusion in must be your dog. Great shot!
Great abstract capture with lots of character.
Superlative blends and effects in this one, Bill! It borders on the creamy. But what is it? A shot of the top of the head of one of the ladies over at the local senior citizen center? Or possibly a dog in dire need of a haircut considering the warmer months ahead.
I like the movement of the curls, excellent shot!
is this human hair or dog hair? this is how my hair looks after being in the wind. excellent subject and capture
A bad hair day for sure, but a very cool shot!!
Bill! Moment i saw it, I thought Westie! Ha! Just like my Bonnie! Except cleaner! Great close up. Lucky she stayed still! Rob.
I knew instantly this must be your doggie's fur, and it looks really good as an abstract. A very clever creative idea Bill, excellent shot, hugs Jane xx
COOOOOL
well everyone who's had a Westie knows that mane a mile away, and you captured it beautifully. You got the swirl, the 'part' down the back, the ears (all covered over), and because you didn't sharpen it, you got softness but also a lot of individual hairs: the fine line good photographers go for. Even when it's not windy, that hair has a windblown look, and under it is one of the kindest breeds on earth. Really nice shot, very soft, and the background hue is perfect for the white. (Makes me miss my old dogs!)
