Whatever it is, it looks like it is blooming with gusto. This is a great macro and you got plenty of detail. Great open face and happy feeling from this.
Lovely shot!

lovely shot x 5+
Well, whatever it is, it's lovely! Very nicely done.
Super DOF and lighting effects bring this beauty to the fore, Maz! I recognize the flower, have the name right on the tip of my tongue, but senility allows me to go no further.
Looks very much like it's a Dog rose (Rosa canina)..gorgeous macro!
Excellent shot Marilyn
The comments are spot on, and I like Andrea's...except I'd modify it just a little: It's not that this macro button changed your life, it's that it gave another avenue to your already bursting sensibilities. And it's a great avenue too. A sensitive picture, and the detail on the stamens is very fine, yet not so detailed that they lose their softness: They look like tufts of corduroy. Nice water beads too, and nice center light, very strong. I was going to say, I hope you find the name of the flower; but knowing you, you'll probably find it & post it in the next 3 uploads, I'm sure you won't leave us hanging. Really nice shot.
