Description
Yesterday was a beautiful day for shooting and I had an unusually good amount of quality shots. I'll try to make time to share them with you. Hope you enjoy them. This image is a sandpiper called a lesser yellowlegs. It is 10-11" (25-28 cm)

A superb image John these are such graceful birds and the remarkable thing about these wetland/shorebirds is the similar appearance of them regardless in the world we see them, no doubt due to the way they have to blend into the environment, and yet have some adaptations to set them apart with colours without being too conspicuous.
