Description
Good evening and a wonderful weekend to you all!
Another winter pic from Berlin, taken at 17th february, 4 weeks later then the last. Meanwhile the ice on our rivers and lakes was totally molten, and the first restaurants had open their gardens...
Two days later the winter came back with full might and brought us a closed snow layer and many snow on the trees. This was the first snow since I began to work as a photographer 3 years ago.
Catching these white beauty meant: Do it now, don`t wait to long! Do it NOW, that meant: Hurry up, do it directly now, don`t wait till tomorrow !! Snow on the trees last one day only here, maybe two, so hurry up........
This is the result, a snapshot taken in Berlins central park, the Tiergarten. And I climbed the "Siegessäule" a pilar, to take shots from above....
Hope you enjoy it as I enjoyed it to take this pics with a frozen nose...
Thanks for your comments for my older pics. Have a nice weekend, whereever you are living.

Beautiful shot/ WOW
Great idea, lovely image
The way the snow catches the sunlight among the shadows is beautiful. It's so nice to have a park like that in a city. Thanks for sharing it!
A very beautiful scene, and very well captured!
stunning light, really highlights the focal point of the bench

Thanks Bill...I like your unknown Berlin photos...they give me an insider's view. Bill (bmac62)...from a former hometown (Leavenworth, Kansas) of Buffalo Bill Cody
A very satisfying shot, indeed. There is a purity in this place and an intimate feeling in the solitary benches.
