Description
This is one I did a couple of weeks back and wasn't sure then whether I'd post it or not...I guess I made up my mind. Took me a while to put together and in the end I wasn't really happy with it, but I suppose it's worth putting in my gallery. The idea for it came from a picture I did way back in 2003 called Star Bound - Planet Fall (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=307955)...I wanted to see what I could come up with now, after all the things I've learned in the last few years. Ironically, though technically proficient, I think by spending so much time on it it kinda lost it's soul along the way.

The background looks fabulous. The foreground elements all look great too. I really don't see that much wrong with the rest of it, except perhaps a certain lack of focus to the composition.

I'm glad you decided to share as it looks superb. In terms of having "lost something", as much as I like it there does seem to be lack of a central focus for the viewer to fix on here. There's a bunch of stuff that's just kind of there (as good as they look), but not one thing in particular that seems to be the main focus of the piece.
