I can smell the home backed bread ans the freshness of everything and the smell of carbolic soap:) and the sound of that clock ticking in the background over the clicking of the knitting needles, and the rustle of the daily news paper. excellent capture of time gone by.

this image 'feels' so warm and inviting.... i feel like i've been there or could be 'at home' there.... MAGIC. bob dylan called the ability to describe a picture in words the "word eye"... the way you've conveyed a sense of place and comfort with an image should be called casting an EYE SPELL!
