Description
At 21:05 on the night of the 26th of May 1941 a torpedo launched by Sub-lieutenant John Moffat in his Fairey Swordfish bi-plane jams the rudder and steering gear on KM Bismarck. The 823 foot vessel now is stuck steaming in a circle that allows the British battleships HMS Rodney and HMS King George V to close in from the west.
