Description

Also in May of 1941, CV HMS Ark Royal and BC HMS Renown are part of a task force sent out to search for BB KM Bismarck. A flight of Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers and Fairey Fulmar fighters set out for a vital early war assignment. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Renown was kept away from the final battle as it was feared Hoods fate might befall her as well..Thin skin Battecruisers having no place in a slugfest with a fast Battleship..Nice render

Well put together piece of history! Only thing wrong with the actual 'look', is the attack by the swordfish took place at night (late evening) and the weather was crap!! But apart from that, a fine picture. Rob.

In a war not everything works out. When everything is said and done the reasons for not accepting the conclusions of chaos will be known. After the battle when the results of the battle plan are known the egg on your face is survival. An amazing adaptation of seemingly irreconcilable differences into a compostion that stirs the imagination.
