Description
Cape Petrels breed on numerous islands surrounding Antarctica. They feed mostly on Euphausiid shrimp and other crustaceans and their habit of pecking at the water to seize prey is the origin of one of their common names, the “Cape Pigeon”. The plumage pattern is unique amongst its species family.
Rendered in Vue 7i with minor postwork. Petrel's from my upcoming Songbird ReMix "Seabirds"
