Green Eyes
Orange night down a mountain in dark
Miles to walk home and thoughts a might scared
Green eyes were watching upon the hilltop on edge
Lights passing by honk blew their horns
Winds blew the nerves startled a jump
Me mind was racing feet drew apart
A few steps ahead decided to turn back
And find a ride home in the mountains I was
Music was packing a few yards ahead
The last song had played while I was gone
Jitters the Goosebumps wide awake alert
Scared as a cat immeasurable speaks twice
Just want to go home and cuddle the bear
A blanket and pillow fall asleep sound
Stronger can hold a few nightcaps alone
Green eyes will haunt a mountain in dark
