Description
Another shot of the beach in Yelapa**. If you look closely at the hills on the far side of the beach, you'll see that they're not as green and lush. This was probably taken in late spring, before the rain.
All these tropical fotos, must be the weather!! I scanned this from an old foto, then postworked and PhotoShopped it, of course!!

you make this gorgeous beach scene look like paradise. love how you have taken the shot through the natural frame of trees and lush vegetation. Certainly is another dream!

Excellent maz, you should put this one in this months Challenge
Beautiful place. I especially like the yellowish light, and the leafy courtains!

Excellent POV !! Well done :)
It does have a very dreamy feel to it...beauty seen through the trees. Nice shot and great postwork!
Wonderful shot. POV and compo spot on.
wonderful capture warm hug, Linda
The way you've framed the beach through the trees is great! (I've been hanging out in the forums again! LOL!)
Stellar contrast and depth achieved in this beautifully scanned and postworked photo, Marilyn!
Very nice work and place.. Aloha
I used to know the name of a drink to ask for in a tropical setting like this, but after turning the Big Hawaii 50hhhh, me forgets #^P
Now that's a natural frame! And you've achieved great depth of field. Well done all the way around. You stayed in a grass shack while you were there no doubt...NOT:)
It is a dream come true! I would think this is the view an explorer might see when he makes the "discovery"!
I like all the comments above, you captured this so nicely inside the tree "frames"...it's kind of an archetypal tropical beach shot, the curve of the land works very well inside the opening of the leaves, etc. It's fun to work with old photos isn't it, and to think that people used darkrooms back then...Nice capture, nice warm light, and I like the feel of the little houses in the background... (I'm almost caught up...one or two more nights, and I'll get there! WOnderful stuff to come back to!)
