I still have to stand on the last one with more background. This is too tight for me. Its a great macro effort if you were doing macros but for a study of food photography, I prefer to see more space around the food featured because that tends to make it more important and not shoved in your face. However, I am no expert and I can only say what it is I am looking for. :-) This is an exceptional macro of food though.
