Description
i was really nervous about posting this one - for two reasons. First, I'm notoriously bad at judging lighting in a pic, and I really have no idea if I've got the lighting right in this one...whether I've judged where it is in the photo and been able to match it on the girl. And second, the background is from an upcoming pack by InfinityRain, and her photography is just awesome, so now of course, I'm terrified she'll totally hate what I did to her photo. *laughs*
I've used V4 with Elite Lana texture and the basicwear - from DAZ. The lighting is Dreamlight's LDP2, with the Azure Skies by theSea (who is probably shaking his head in horror and wondering why I still can't judge lights even after all he's tried to thump into my head!)
I used Dreamlight's tutorial on how to match 3d with a photo (from the Dreamlight Club) - used a lot of the tips he has in the postwork section mainly. I didn't follow the tut exactly, so if it's a horror, blame me, not his tutorial. *grin*
Also Maraich helped out with tips and tricks and feedback on the postwork too - big thank you to her!!!
Because of Maraich, Dreamlight and most especially, theSea, I think I'm getting better as I go along on this little hobby of mine. Without them, I would be still be churning out rubbish and not growing and learning. So I thank the three of you - Dreamlight for creating awesome products for DS and for encouraging me all the way and being the incredible sweet generous person he is (and for not kicking me out of his hiding spaces I seem to stumble into all the time *grin*) - Maraich for being a wonderful friend and encouraging me and her feedback on my art and getting excited for me when i make it into the DS galleries *laughs* - and theSea, the Render God..the Voice of the Wisdom of the Shader Gods *evil grin*....my Guru and Mentor...who still talks to me after all the stupid questions I plague him with, and still tries to teach me even when I render crap. *laughs*
uh oh, i hear the orchestra music, better get off the stage. LOL
InfinityRain, if I had half the talent at my renders as you do with your photography, girl, I'd be a star! *hugs*

OMG How could I possibly hate it?? Awwwwww I love what you've done with it. :) :) Bravo!! claps I have a goofy stupid looking grin on my face now :) Thank you so much!! :)
Superb render !!!!!
Fantastic work!!
Okay wow. Rain's not alone on the stupid grin concession. Great work Jaki. The only thing I might argue on this is the composition, I think if she were a little closer to the camera... And thanks for the kind words. I'm glad I've been able to help. Giving back is important, so many people helped me (and continue to help) when I started out. Really though, stunning!
Well, I think this one's totally gorgeous! good work, lady!! lighting and all else spot-on to my eye....
Love her pose, I did you did well with the lights I agree a bit closer to the camera would have been great but this turned out lovely.
I really like your creativity here. Wonderful pose and great concept. Love the background too. Great way to show it off. I think the lighting works well with the general lighting in the picture. Great job!
Oh, golly, you got me blushing here. Trust me it goes both ways. You've really helped me along, kept me enthused and taught me a bunch. But on to the picture. I was really impressed that you took on such a challenging image. The natural daylight and the water scared me, but wow, you tackled the whole thing quite handily. You were smart in warming up the image too, it brought out her skin nicely and made it look more natural. Also helped integrate her into the photo better.
Wonderful work. I've never tried blending before, but the lighting looks good to me!
Great work!!!
Excellent
Now that's some mighty fine photo blending! Very nice all around!
she look's brilliant
excellent photo manipulation!
This is VERY good work. The scenery is very realistic. Excellent work.*****
Yup, you nailed it just fine.
You should trust your intuition more often .. even if it comes to you in the manner of uncertainty. The images which you have considered not posting are very original and evocative. I really enjoy where you takes us creatively. Terry
