Description

Trying to find ways to be creative in this type of shot.. using the tables between myself and the subject to add some depth to the shot.

Works well to give a bit of the room for the player instead of capture him in a thight crop. As usualy you pick, more likely wait for the good pose and the almost electryfied blue is add to the atmoshere.

Your idea about distance was a good one. This turned out great! I love the pov, that he's just one guy among many who are playing there. The blue of his shirt and the blue of the tables is awesome, and the look on his face ... wow. SO focused! This is really outstanding.

I like the "power of 3" that you got in this. A table in front, one in back... I also like the down low positioning of you and him. Outstanding work.

The DOF works well. Though i think it's the blue of his t-shirt matching the blue of the tables that create the interest.

It's worked well! What lens are you using? EF 70mm - 200mm?

Outstanding. Folks above have about said it all. Ditto. Another excellent shot for anyone of us aspiring to do some pool hall work.
