Description
Well, in spite of a very cold winter, the Carneval Days have been blessed by a fair weather with clear skies and a razor-sharp light. Maybee this light is less romantic then a misty foggy one, but it's good for the masks, for the people enjoning the feasts, for the photographers (who can get the misty atmosphere photoshopping their images back in the studio if they like) and for the indigenous denizens (the Venetians) because struggling both with the weather AND the hordes of tourists is an epic deed!!;-D.

Yes, I am in total agreement about the light. You used it well anyway, and these are a total delight. Going in tight, as you have been, IMO, makes for a more powerful image and probably cuts out all of the rest of the camera toting tourists.
