Love the warm light
Amazing light + good composition = great shot!
Those late-late afternoon shadows are awesome! Great shot!
Beautiful image - the light is gorgeous! I just looked at a whole bunch of WWII planes, but couldn't figure it out.
Got it Fenton, ...North American B-25 Mitchell bomber. Most famous for being used by General Doolittle's raiders flying off an aircraft carrier and making the first strike against the Japanese homeland after Pearl Harbor. This raid although causing only minor damage was the morale booster needed by the American people when things looked the darkest in 1942. Your photo is a great tribute. Was this veteran on the Doolittle raid?
Excellent picture!!
Wonderful afternoon sun lights this goergeous display.
superb
wonderful still life!!!
Wonderful and very beautiful photo Frankie....!!!
Zoom IS good. Great colors and light in the nostalgic still-life.
amazing light and excellent tribute
Beautiful colors and clarity in this composition, Fenton. Definitely a North American B-25 Billy Mitchell medium bomber. I saw one back in 2000 over at nearby March AFB in Riverside, CA. And the aircraft carrier bmac62 was referring to was the USS Hornet. There was even a movie or two made about the famous Doolittle raid.
excellent dedication to this man. Love the mood and the light !
