Description
This sweet orchid has given me so much of its time. It's been patiently posing, inside and outside, in bright sunlight and under a hot lightbulb. I've practically drowned it in water, moved it from place to place, stuffed it into a glass. And now, i've photographed its most intimate parts--have I no shame???? (apparently not!!)

Wonderful close-up. Can't stop thinking the jaws of some giant cat.
Stellar photo of the sexually suggestive parts of this exotic bloom, Marilyn. Love the twin nature, backlighting, textures and variations in red portayed here.
Wonderful Work!!!
Were you wearing a white coat and gloves when you took this? Great shot!
You are having to much fun with this orchid. Wonderful macro. Great color. Dana P
Wow. It reminds me of one of those military cargo planes that load from the tail. They just yawn open and swallow tanks and stuff!
Gloriuos colours! I'm sure there are many among us who do truly apreciate it's tireless work bringing beauty to the world
lol, yeah I'm not gonna say what it looks like, but it's an amazing capture! Is it still in a glass? (You should put up a content advisory...this could be a centerfold!) It's amazing you got this symmetry, not easy with any flower; and the center petal or stem (whatever that is in the center) is amazingly complex. Leave it to you to find yet another vibrant side to this flower.
