Description
Alex was commissioned to do another mural at the VA Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This room is to look as tho you are sitting inside a gazebo looking out.
Picure #1 is the before and all the furniture is still in that room so he has to move it around as he goes.
Pic #2 is the beginning pillars and grass.
Pic #3 is the addition of flowers that twine around the pillars and the sun with sunspots.
Pic #4 is one of the stone pillars.
Next collage I will show some details. Hope you enjoy this new series!

This is fascinating. I have done murals on my walls in my last house. I'm no painter and they had a very cartoon quality to them but it sure was fun. This is outstanding work and i love the progression in the collage.
I know all about moving furniture for painting.not a lot of fun but at least his painting is low key(not whole walls/ceilings) so he does not have to worry about drops.it is beautiful work and collage.thanks Lynn

Im liking what I see, but have to be honest. The mural under the window has more of an aquatic look and feel to me which goes better with the view outside the window. Its like having a giant fish tank built under the windows. Beautiful work; is he going to add more??? Bravo to Alex and I know the Richmon VA well
