Description

Let's all wish a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Piet. He is a Valentine baby and still sweet because of it. Have a wonderful "homemade" day and please "rise" to the occasion! Your choice between Beastly or Yeastly. HA! Have a great day all! Jodie

Stellar shots and stellar wish. (I almost posted a bread shot too. Glad I didn't because it couldn't hold a candle to this!)

How homey and warm, surely a sensational experience for any man coming home to the tantalizing smells hovering around a good cook. Thanks so much for the well wishes. Happy Valentine's to you too. :) You should have been a poet Shakespeare, with all these double entendres.

First, happy birthday to Piet too, I feel like I know him by now & I hope he has a wonderful day! And I like the double entendres too (I'll forgive you the knead joke, but there's also the one about "comin' through the rye" and the one about the baker going entirely gray who called it "whole grayin'"...[whole grain???] Send me an SASE, I'll send you the list...) That bread looks great, and it looks whole grain too. And I'm fascinated by your kitchen: I love the little paintings, one looks like a rooster (in an old russian-looking frame) and one I can't tell but I like the reds a lot. But those towel designs and the napkins/bread cloths: Intense & colorful things! And there you are making the bread, I love these kinds of shots! (You know, if you were a real friend, you'd upload the bread itself. It might need some filtering, but it should work...) Nice birthday wish & delicious looking bread. Hope Piet enjoys it for dinner...

LOL! You really kneaded to post a portrayal of puns in observance of Piet's birthday, right, Jodie! This is really an excellent collage, dedicated to our friend from across the sea. The rising bread looks superb, and your kitchen is a lot neater than mine.
