Description
here is another shot from last year. 10/10/08 ISO 200
they was cutting the 4th year cane for it did not come out good. They told me it was the two storms that hit here in the summer. So all they did with it was cut it and left it on the ground. Some times the 4th year is good but not last year. The cane was turning fast but I had the speed on high 1/160 . i got a lot of photo of this here is just one. Oh they grow the cane for 4 years; cut in each year at the fall time
hahah useing my gallery here as a personal blog. i thought about that to day and it hit me every one here is doing that. They post babies ; cats; dogs; 2d and 3d stuff. We all is like little kids run to show mom some image we have so she can tape it to the ice box. So let all keep on posting on the RR ice box hahahahahhaahahahahah

Perfect analogy with the ice box :o) ....but it's so true ! Please don't let that guy's comments bother you (which I can see it has a little bit).....everyone loves you and your work!...you've got such a warm and winning personality and your posts are great ....so just keep right on doing what you're doing :o) Great shot here too ~ *** H u g s ***
Great and educational posting, Jock. Many use their gallery here as a blog..nothing wrong with that. I kinda like your sugar cane series... it told me things i did not know. Nice and intersting.+5
A interesting and very illustrative documental photo my friend, a excellent shot....!!!!!
Quite a massive piece of machinery cutting all of those cane stalks.
Xcellent shot my friend!!!!
Excellent "work in progress" capture, Jock!!!
I agree too, Jocko!
An excellent capture. These pics are always interesting!
fantastic!
LOL! yeah like little children! Great shot again Jocko.
Great shot Jock!! It's not every day you see how sugar cane is cut, especially in England where we only grow sugar beet.
Excellent image! :)
I've seen that a lot of time in Mauritius Island (indian ocean)
super image.... i'd put it on my ice box!
Always like very interesting your works my friend. You know much do an exemplary work but are not recognized like tel. Very disappointing of the times. Cheer and mile mercies ((5++)) Toujours comme très intéressant tes oeuvres mon ami . Tu sais beaucoup font un travail exemplaire mais ne sont pas reconnus comme tel . Très décevant des fois .Bravo et mile mercis ((5++))
Wonderful shot!
I like that big monster million $ machine :-)
Great capture Jocko!
Neat POV here. It's such a shame, to lose everything from four years like that, and then have to spend more work and money to destroy it besides. This is a side of the hurricanes we don't usually see.
That's a mouth full! ;)
This machinery is so big and so interesting.
Cool capture! mi piace moltissimo il colore del ? (non ci capisco nulla di macchine agricole):)
