Description
Silhouette, anyone?
Captured 2/3/09, very early in the morning, within walking distance of my lackluster lair.
To eliminate a couple of multitextured houses at the bottom of this photo, I resorted to good old hocus pocus -- as my friend babuci would so eloquently put it -- so this arboreal gem, devoid of leaves at this time of the year, would stand out without any annoying distractions to divert our attention.
Thankx for dropping by, and have a Monday of epic proportions.

What a beautiful tree silhouette !
cool looking tree
Yes, this tree looks cool and has something special.
This tree refuses to die. Maybe someone never told the owner you only do this to rose bushes. Nice shot of an ardent, arborous, excrescent remainder. I do like your postwork allowing your subject to be free of clutter. Well done Harry.
There are some trees that look like this in the winter, then comes summer and they leaf out into full-blown beauties. This is so cool, all those fingers reaching to the sky...great magic, Harry!
The blue sky give a nice backdrop to this bare tree. Love the leaves on the tip of the branches, makes it almost cute.
Wonderful shot, Harry, spare and clean and sharp!!
Very nice photo Harry :)
Sometimes the city has to come by and cut trees to keep the branches out of the electric lines, giving it a look similar to this. Hopefully this odd looking tree will flourish again in spring. I like that there is still a bit of natural brown color showing in this silhouette.
Fabulous silhouette Harry, this looks great!
Neat shot!
