Excellent work!
Wonderful and very creative macro
A little macro work makes a great backstop for a day when you either can't or don't want to go out. My first time to see this coin.
Excellent result! Well done
Perfection!
Very nice!
fascinating! never seen one of these before, very well shot and presented! (btw, don't 'get' the thumbnail.. is it intentional? doesn't seem to relate to this image)
Gee I have a few of these coins in my collection. When you that much snow and not used to it everything does come to a standstill. Just have to wait it out hope you don't get to bored, you have to shovel it out of the driveway.
oh cool ! love the colour tone here !
I love the amazing clarity of this macro. I can really see them better than when I've held such in my hands. Whatever you photographed them on is perfect as well as a background.
Lovely, well the day was not a waste of time mate! Typical eh 3 inches of snow and the country comes to a grinding halt!
That's kind of what happens here too; we don't have enough plows, so a little bit of snow and no one can move...it's a bit embarrassing. Beautiful shot, these a pretty little coins!
mother nature at work that all. cool shot of these coins
You've made good use of your time indoors! :) I love shots like this, and the clarity is beautiful!

This is such a great shot! Your lighting is impressive.
Thanks for sharing ! I've never seen three penny coins ! Superb shot. We had a little bit snow in Lorraine too : I wlaked to school... It was an excellent exercice ;-)
Very nice light on this, Alan. Could be fun if everybody, in a Forum, sent in macros of old coins.
Fantastic shot and macro.
Well, I've heard of these all my life, but have never seen one before! Great shot, Alan, and we have been watching the scenes from England on our tv.
Excellent capture my friend.
