Description
Wandering around my garden, the primroses are always there, giving me color on the grayest of days. This one is no exception.

love the flower. i think what set them up is the dark blue type color below them
I'm jealous that you have things in bloom at this time of year!!
Wonderful contrast of colors & excellent focus
I started working in the back yard to get it cleaned and weeded and pruned for the year. I hardly made a dent after several hours. I found 2 rose blooms in one rose bush and a half dozen ganzias but it was my herbs that really were impressive. I would have loved to have found flowers like this somewhere...might be I don't see them because I have never thought to add these to the collection! Silly me!
lovely capture with sweet colors x
Very nice. I can identify with your splashes. Brightens things up for sure.
WONDERFUL pic! Just what I need today, dull, cold, windy.
lovely on a cold day
Splendid and adorable flowers...bravissima! V:DDD.Hugsxx Whylma
Beautiful shot Maz, love the vibrant colours, as I type this it's trying it's damndest to snow here, I am like an excited child waiting to see if it settles enough for some snow pictures, how sad am I? LOL.
Nice and crisp... Excellent. Aloha
I had some of these blooming out front right before the snow; I haven't checked to see what happened to them. Thanks for the reminder! And I also love the yellow petals against the blue pot, great color combo!
beautiful capture warm hug, Linda
the colors are awesome and beautiful flowers
I noticed a few daffodil shoots under my window, will still be a few weeks before we see anything here! Lovely shot Marilyn!
Stellar colors in this macro considering the overcast conditions, M.
Wow! this is just a great shot!!
Very striking capture Marilyn :o)..Excellent capture Mick
So pretty... love the oranges against the blue of the pottery
There's a tiny hint of purple peeking in as well. I love the way the stone/pottery contrasts against the edge.
the color is bright, but I love the jutting dried stems & petals around it too; and the thorny stem rising above it. A real mix of nature in one place. And these primroses look like they're on the tired-er side, maybe old, or just wheezed out after a jog...Amazing how flowers change, isn't it? And I like the blue thing on the bottom...bark? a tree stump? a flying saucer that came by for some food? Nice color...completes the shot for me. A very interesting combination of different worlds...
