A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
"The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful."
~ E.E. Cummings, poet (1894-1962)
Lucky Bill requested another infrared photo, so here you go.
Sorry for the corny title, but nothing overly original is sparking in the synapses this morning. It was either that or Strawberry Trees. :|
I find it interesting that the nearby foliage has a redder tint while the distant trees are more yellowish. Can any scientists in the audience explain that one?

Wow!! What a fantatic image!! :)
Beautifully done!
gorgeous kort
Thats almost unreal! Thanks for sharing.
Yep, another superb shot. The canal area was a real hot spot for you...no pun intended :-) The blues are quite something too.
Sorry can't explain the red bitz, but I sure do want to have a munch on those trees ! Neat composition and IR effects ! ~Cheers~
Magic! Like a dream land!
Beautiful IR image! I do like the cotton candy trees! Nice!
Magical Kort - what a gorgeous scene! :)
Beautiful IR image!
pure fantasy
Reception of a good photo by more simple ways is justified!))
This is candyland for sure! The sweets simply drip from the trees.
In the olden days, my father had a vinyl record album - the old 33 1/3rd - of E.E.Cummings reading his works. And 2 of his books on the shelf. Even as a pre-teen, I was totally taken with his use of the language. His words go well with your photo. Look in the distance, over slightly to the right and follow the wood post fence off into the magical trees.
Another stellar IR concept to grace the pages of Renderosity, Kort! Love the silhouetting in this Huckleberry Finn composition. And, my only scientific observation in this instance is that you've been playing with the Channel Mixer in Photoshop.
One of your best, this is stunning and a perfect title for the image!
" ... and the goat-footed balloonman whistles far and wee ..." One of my favorite e.e. cummins poems. Thanks for the reminder! And I love your photograph. This is absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful post. Like something out of a Fairy Tale. Fabulous. Aloha
A little busy to be classic, but atsa nice.
always fascinated by your visions Kort!
This looks tasty.... Excellent work... Aloha
beautiful capture
I guess it has something to do with some trees being in the sun and others in the shade. I just love the effect you have here it makes for a wonderful fairytale type of place. My favourite capture today.
