I've got apples for my lunch tomorrow. My favorite desserts are made from apples... apple crisp, apple brown betty, apple dumplings, apple pies, baked apples, apple cake and I could go on and on. I also like the shot a lot. Hanging on the black background, it almost looks like an exotic planet hanging in the universe.

When we go to the store in the winter, Mullaney's favorite treat for being good is an apple. She picks a different one every time. They all taste different she says, but they all taste like summer is hiding in there! Great shot. It does look like a planet!

I don't know what 'scrumping" is, but I sure want to pick this apple and give a bite!
so, they are edible! Scratch my questions from last upload! Were they sweet? And I agree with the above, I'd never heard of "scrumping" either, though I like the word! (Just looked it up. Comes from "scrump". Man, that's one outa sight word...) I agree the water drops are delicate on this; and the black background makes it a 'classic' shot. (Reminds me of Tara in some ways.) Like the pov too: Bottom up. It looks like one of those "intense" apples, like one bite and you are filled with apple-dom. (Crab apples have that quality: small but intense.) Nice companion to the previous apple shot, bold & clear and almost Japanese. Nice detail all around (the leaf at top looks almost like black flame!) (I have to ask: There's a little spot about 3/4 of the way up: Do you think apples fret about that the way humans do? Do they look in the mirror and scream, "&%@!!! I have a pimple!!!")
