Great way to show this capture and I guess your winter is starting to wear a little thin by now.
Superb picture with intense colors and light...
it almost feels like you have some fractals in here...whatever you used, it makes a luminous & introspective leaf, but then your leaves have given us that feeling all along...I love that you allowed the outlines to sing, you didn't try to hide or modify them: They give the structure a bold feel. But you also gave a certain translucence to it, like it's made of light as well as form. And all the veins vie and tangle with each other for primacy. It feels like a kind of luminous foil...Also, your foreground feels a bit like a river; and I love how you highlight the edges with those little criss-cross lines that extend beyond the leaf's veins. This was a favorite when I saw it a week ago, and it remains so now. A lovely vibrant work.
