Description

This is my personal commentary on the foreclosure crisis spreading like poison across the United States and threatening the very fabric of American life as we know it. This image is one of a number of Poser renders I have incorporated into my documentary short film, "Predator", which can be seen at http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-15905 and is an expose on a predatory subprime lender, Option One Mortgage Corp. and its former parent company, H&R Block. I am one of many victims of this predatory lender. As it stands right now, I am still in the house I inherited from my beloved mother, but my future, along with the futures of my wonderful pets (including Rudy, the subject of my previous gallery upload, "Essence of Pug") is very uncertain and bleak, especially as I just lost my job last week. Being 50 years old and having to compete not only with countless others laid off from work due to the economic crisis, but also with fresh college graduates is very difficult to deal with both intellectually and emotionally--but I am and have been doing a lot of praying. I do believe in miracles and hope that the man upstairs blesses me with one soon. GOD BLESS AMERICA! -Elis from the CGClub -TV, crumpled newspaper, Jack Daniels bottle, 'Poser-Cola' can from freebie sites around the 'Net -The Freak from DAZ and his boots from Billy -Rocky ground texture from Pixar Animation Studios' One Twenty Eight CD of seamless, high-res textures -Postworked in Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended

Excellent work. I haven't watched TV for almost a year but I see the signs around me of the USA recession. Work has dropped in my business and I'm not even in the USA! It shows the true effect of a global economy. I hope your message is heard. But you won't change the insidious greed associated with true capitalism overnight. It is sad that those truly responsible for this will most likely get away with just a handshake and a sizable redundancy payout. Good luck with your future.

It's a shame that so much time, effort, money and human life has been wasted by the previous administrations in needless conflicts instead of helping it's own people at home.
