Description
During the harvest moon, when the villages gather in the harvest and reap the crops from the year before winter, the faes, fairies, and gnomes are at their most active and most visible. They invade kitchens and cause havoc in homes after venturing from the surrounding woods. But some enjoy these autumn days and romp with the magic.
I was going for a younger look of a teen who might dance with the fairies but I fear she looks a bit older than I wanted. Also think I overworked the image in post but I can't do anything about it now.
It's kind of like real painting....you can make it muddy if you mix the colors too much. I've had the itch to paint something on canvas and I have my easel up and the supplies but here I sit looking at it while I tap away on the computer. I think I'm addicted, lol.

Nice one Nancy :D
WOW THIS IS SO WONDERFUL AND ENCHANTING
The fairies are also known to hang around the Inns in the evening trying to trade the their glowy orbs for a shot of whiskey. There isn't an Inn Keeper in town who doesn't have a large glowing jar of colourful orbs right beside the pickles. Your rendering just made me think of that. Your work here is really quite lovely and charming. I like it a lot.
I think this is great Nancy. And far from Overworked. I love images rich in detail and I like everything about this image. It's awesome! Bravo and hugs from Dave :^)

Super fantasy, Nancy! I agree with supermario - this has a definite "Shrek" feel to it. There's only one thing to do with your addiction - create! :o) (But I would be really interested to see your analog painting....)
I think she is perfect! I like her age and I love all the little characters about her. Splendid work! Bunny
Very rich in detail and quite charming.
Just because she's a bit older doesn't mean she can't play with the wee ones, I do it all the time. This is a joy to look at, superb detail and color, not overworked at all. Outstanding work Nancy Peace

Nancy you really are incredible and you have such a warm and fun way of expressing your visions. This is perfect and only you could make those little green guys fit right in and seem almost adorable. Wonderful work :)

Well done Nancy ... and that woman is still young enough to give those faes, fairies, and gnomes a few prancing lessons.
It's a "magical" render, Nancy. Don't think the girl looks all that old. Really like what you did with her and it doesn't seem overworked to me.
