Electra is the Bright or Brilliant one, the flowing of molten metal - her name means Amber Coloured.
One of Seven Sisters known as the Pleiads, hunting companions of the Arcadian Artemis.
Many a night I saw the Pleiads,
rising through the mellow shade,

Wonderfully beautify work. Pleiads were pursued by the hunter Orion. They prayed to be rescued from him, so the gods transformed them into doves (peleiades), and placed among the stars. So poor Orion got rejected by 7 beautiful women. Definitely beats my record of 5 in one night. LOL....sigh!
