Seventy-ninth in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.

With all due respect to elegant conveyances such as the Cadillac, Corvette and Lamborghini, I know this is what you've really been waiting for.
This puppy sold for $825.00 new. The headlights had been removed for some reason or another. And, I like the treadless white Pillsbury Doughboy tires/tyres.
When I finally got over to the antique Ford display, which was about the last item on my itinerary, I was feeling rather dopey and woozy from the miles of hiking up and down, working around the vast crowd, the afternoon heat and my growing hunger, which resulted in my becoming increasingly careless with my picture taking. Composition and POV be damned! At least I stopped for something to eat and drink about then.
Anyway, this is the first of some antique Ford shots I'll be presenting in the following days.
Sorry, no 1950's models in this series.

Red? Did Henry approve of this modification to original specifications? Nice shot...by coincidence a friend just sent me a video clip of Ford's Model T assembly line in action ending with the 15,000,000th rolling off the line with Henry Ford himself in the front passenger seat. This baby was a first production year model. I got hot and tired thinking of your long day at this wonderful show.
