Seventy-eighth in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.

Sorry to say this is the last of the exquisite Cadillac series vis-a-vis this particular auto show. All I've got left in this bag of tricks are Fords, and that should just about do it. But before the car haters breathe a sigh of relief, I still have many more photos of other auto shows to post in the near future.
Thankx for popping in, and have a teleological Thursday.

Oh I can smell the leather... Stunning images of these luxurious beauties Harry! :)
lovely capture
Excellent and very interesting photos. Fantastic car.
I'm kind of amazed. I had a 1963 Pontiac, 2 door hardtop. The 1966 Cadillac's steering wheel/column, speedometer and the layout of all the airconditioning vents is the same as my older Pontiac. GM must have been doing cost cutting in 1966. All that aside, super pictures. Bring on the Fords. Hope you have a 1950 Ford convertible...that was my first car. It was so simple I could work on it myself. Bill
What a fantastic double candy shot Harry. Love the color combinations and a fine interial display. What a different between a 2 auto, I would take a Deville for a ride for sure. I see you have your signature mark, smart.
Very beautiful interiors. Great Shots!!
It's been a lot of years since I sat on one of those massive bench-style front seats...they were great for the drive-in movies! And the white steering wheels! What a beautifully maintained couple of cars...excellent captures, your love for these shows in the shots!
LOL at Denise--but these are great shots, that red tuck and roll is awesome!!
Beautiful capture...
At some point the Prodigal Son returned and instrument panels began to have pods instead of just clusters. (Let me explain, see when he was away the Prodigal Son fed the pigs he was caring for pods.) In 1947 the radio and the center were the focus. Note the deep dish of the 1966 for safety crush in a head-on. Neigther car has a clutch pedal--Hydramatic. Air conditioning outlets in the 1966. I had A/C in my 1966.
What a blast from the past! Love those interiors! Takes me back to childhood! Neat shots, Harry! Or should I say "far out!" :)
