Another piece of driftwood.........

What a great piece of wood...worn by the sea. I'm not sure what the black "stuff" is...somehow tar accumulated on drift wood that washed up on our east coast Atlantic Ocean beaches years ago. A very interesting and arresting photo! Like it. Bill
Very cool.
Oh this is a great study of shapes, pattern and textures. I would be interested to know how large this was just to get a sense of how close you got here!
Great picture!

Just another piece of driftwood, eh? Wonderful swirl of grain and color, you got a great POV in this shot. Great work!
Textures and colors are super. Looks like the entrance to a hidden cave.
awesome capture warm hug, Linda
The colors are fantastic... and Love the swirls and textures
Beautiful! I love the texture.
it goes, and where it stops, nobody knows. Magnificent colors and striated textures revealed in this capture, which all the world resembles a plunge into a menacing abyss....certainly not Alice's banal rabbit hole.
well, you're really giving us natural-drama these days! This is a whooshing, swirling shot, showing what nature does to wood when it submerges it for months or years. Wonderful shot, and it's almost edible. (That sap could be maple syrup. I mean maple syrup comes from trees, right?) Your shots are bursting out all over & your camera's really singing. Fine work!
Amazing details. Excellent shot
Amazing wood circles !!! Great capture, dear Marilyn ! 5* Hugs:)
A galaxy in wood. Beautiful
