Description

This is by no means finished. This texture is a base from which to work. I like the way it looks, but I want to add acid etching in the surface with medieval floral patterns. There will be more than one colour, and the gambeson and pants underneath will also have chain textures, as well as the boots beneath his sabbatons. That helm is one of three, and there will likley be more, as well as a sword and scabbard with baldric or sword belt for this suit. And probably a shield with the standard you see there in the image above. A field of sable with an x in rouge. Hope you like it so far. Not rigged yet. Amusingly Mike 4 is not in the suit there. He had a stomach bug so we shot without him. :P Cheers Darrin

That's superb! finished or not, superb detailing and the textures look awesome especially the chain mail. Are you going to add some battle damage morphs to prevent the poser perfection look, after all it is a battle suit.

This armor is getting better and better looking with each work up. The base texture that you're working with looks fantastic and can't wait to see what kind of etching you plan on the armor. Just can't wait till you've got this done! REALLY looking forward to it!
