Description
Captured 3/8/07 during my 3-mile round-trip along the 300-acres of restored wetlands, located just north of Huntington Beach proper, photographing anything and everything in sight.
The reserve supports waterfowl such as avocets, egrets, plovers, and the endangered least terns, whatever that particular species is, but not in this area of the wetlands.
These shots were taken on the return leg of my journey. If you look closely you may be able to detect groups of waterfowl sitting on or near the spits, enjoying their lackadaisical lives. The bottom photo shows a few intrepid explorers starting out on the trip. Because of big rocks and flowing water, some hop, step and jump was necessary at this juncture. Jack be nimble.
These pics are a lot prettier than the nasty, pointy, sticky cacti that I posted yesterday.
Thankx for clicking on, and have a temperate Tuesday.

Interesting pics. I do see the birds and in in full size view, I think you've got at least one super tanker at sea if not two. Another Harry special collage...cool. Bill
