Description

I would like to dedicate this image to Andrea (durleybeachbum) just to say thank you for being such an inspiration to me and many others on this website. Your images and knowledge are amazing and it's great for me to have you as a friend. I captured this bloom, about to open, in the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens here in Johannesburg. I have no idea what flower it is, but it is a broad leaved plant. *sheepish grin* What I really like is that part of the plant was in the shade and the bloom in the sunlight - giving the illusion that it is reaching out. Thank you all for popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my upload of the little bridge last night! Take care! Hugs, Carin xx

How very kind of you, Carin!! I was thinking 'what an elegant image' before I read the words! How I long for some sunshine, and your pic certainly delivers some!
