Description
This is the Clinch River, just below a hydroelectric dam build in the late 1930's. The view is from a weir dam up river. Trout fishermen and women are gathering and soon the water in this area will be home to many looking to land a stocked rainbow or perhaps a record native brown trout. This water is quite cold year around and trout thrive. Behind my position the water below the weir is more shallow and turbulent. I will show that photo someday.
The air was cool but sunny and with the most lovely color I have seen in a while this season.
