My sister and I shake our heads over the people of the male persuasion who are hooked on chains and ropes. Her husband can't pass one by, and they're the most popular items at her yearly garage sales. That said, this is a great shot of someone's prized display of hardware!
I have piles and piles of chains. There is something so secure and reassuring about them but I couldn't tell you what any of them can be used for. I just pile them in a big bin in the garage and every so often dig them out to feel the strength and heft of them. At least here, they are being displayed. Great shot and I love the grayness of it - it really emphasizes the strength.
