what a great door this is! although i love decay generally i do hope this one will be restored to it's former glory! the photo is beautiful.
I love the ghostly presence at the door. It fits so well. The architectural detail is superb subject matter, even in a worn state. That makes it more interesting. This is a fav!
superb
Very good image texture and reflection, excellent combination.
Love the gargoyles on the door and the ghostly reflection. Great image!
Such lovey old architecture and tectures. And it is so wonderful to see the Artist within the Art.
Wonderful colors, textures and details! Beautiful massive old door and nicely taken!
Waow! Is that your refektion in the door. Awesome shot.
Those faces on the animals are very snooty!
Very nice capture and nice touch with the reflection in the glass.
What an incredible find and capture dear friend!!! WOW - amazing history in this door I bet!!! :)
You've got us all so interested, now we want the history of the door. Great capture...if that is you in the reflection, where's the camera? All very mysterious...which is exactly why it is a superb photograph. Bill
Very cool looking door and post work!
Marvelous work, very well done!
Wow. The overall effect of the shot is magnificent. There is so much to see, starting with the textures .. there is a strange striped effect on the glass, like louvres that seem to pass through the reflection. The reflection looks like a ghost, it is a reflection, right? The carvings on the door are amazing! Where does the door lead to? It looks like it should open to a mystical place, perhaps another world entirely, a dream world, or a land of fantasy and magic. You have such a wonderful eye for things, and then you make them better.
The texture is amazing! I love the brass door handle. Wonderful shot!
It's a fascinating shot ;O)
exquisite. The decay is wonderful, and the whole door/wall/carving is fascinating and almost sinister. Wonderful detail on the slats & glass (I assume that's a small window there, though I could be wrong), and your shadow here is also very expressive. A definite fav. I have a few more to catch up on, but today's bunch were each little gems. Such a fine gallery!
OH yes, I like that door too. It is a wonderful capture. All the cracks add to it.
