Description
10,000', Sugar Bowl resort, near Lake Tahoe, California. The boys, Jordan, Scott, Kyle, ready to blast down the hill. Jordan is my son, he's a serious boarder. See that sign~~the one that points out the boundaries? Well, let's put it this way: Jordan tells about "back country" boarding. 4 hour hikes up the mountain, 20 minute ride down, "the best ride of my life, mom". No need to tell you why my hair's turning gray!!

LOL@James, took the words right out of my mouth :)...Great capture, love the dark blue sky!
Now that is a stunning view, way to go lads!
Great shot! They look pretty happy to be up there. :)
Nice shot!
Take us to your leader. Or, in another scenario, what's a mother to do? They may be Jordan, Scott, and Kyle to you, but they sure look like visitors from another galaxy that had just been dropped off via an alien spacecraft. Stellar capture of the intrepid snow boarders contrasted against the stark and vividly colored background, M.
Wonderful shot! That view is breathtaking!
good times.....=] my brother is a back country skier, I like the trial and the trees. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....=]
Hehehe, just go down it yourself and it will all be gray by the time you reach the bottom!!! Merry Christmas!!!
lovely shot marilyn, great to see some of what your son does. (I'm getting gray hair just thinking about it!) Nice blues in the shot too, it feels really fresh and high-up. The spirit of inner-discovery runs from mother straight through to the son! Nice cool image for Christmas too.
Nice one. Merry Christmas to you
Wonderful shot and story Marilyn! Merry Christmas!
You are breaking my heart with these shots.....I miss skiing so bad it aches
