Yesterday Fred255 posted a red eyed owl. I asked how he did it and here is my results after applying David's technique.
What do you think? One way or the other, my thanks to David for the tip. And check out his owl if you haven'r seen it.
Thanks for all your comments and favs...just havin' more fun than the law should allow.
Bill :-)
P.S. Just may be the first time my grandson has been chased by a little blondie...

Great selective coloring work!
Excellent! See this really is very easy to do. I should become a teacher. "Just may be the first time my grandson has been chased by a little blondie..." But NOT for the last time! 8~)
LOL @ the blondie chase... Agreeing with David - this is not the last time... He is a very handsome young man... Great use of selective coloring! :)
Cute kids. Looks like you did a great job with this technique.
lol, Bill, guees he will be chased again, when grown up...smile... and you did very well in this selective coloring... ah and one more thing: Luckily for all of us there is no law limiting the joy and fun you can have while doing and showing your artwork...smile
Delightful! I still haven't mastered this selective stuff, too much to learn all at once!
Great play with the selective colouring! I like the look of this image, and it certainly highlights for us, perhaps the most apparently important subjects! Excellent idea and creation! Most precious and cute!
Wonderful shot. What a fine looking young man... I'll bet it will not be the last time he is chased by a good looking blond. Seems to me that there was a TV personality in Charleston, who was associated with the Sports Car Club that thought his grandpa was a pretty neat dude. Cheers, Skipper
Neat work, Bill. Good looking boy.
Great work and a very cute result.
Excellent job with the selective coloring! A perfect choice for this technique.
Yes, I've done selective coloring in the distant past, and it is a lot of fun. And, great shot of the kids cavorting about.
Great family sgot Bill!
Selective coloring can be a great way to bring drama and interest into a photo and you've done a wonderful job of it here.
If I was three I would be chasing him too... LOL he is cute.. And great work on this .... and I could have just asked David, how to do this LOL. Oh well it was sure fun!?!?! trying to learn on my own. haha Have a lovely day~~
There is some work on that, but the results are amazing! I love to do that! You did an excellent job, Bill! P.S. My grandson is chased 24/7/365 by his blonde sister... :))
Hi! I'm back. Cool pic. Like Era's, this works but looks better. Replies have to short. A lot of catching up to do!! Later, Rob.
