Description
"And so, we left the cradle for the last time. We will never forget our earth, our birthplace; but we will also never look back. We are all made of star stuff, and for centuries we thought they enticed us with their mysteries. In truth, I think they were simply calling us home..." -- Captain Anthony Wade, U.S.S. Hawkings, 'And Straight On Til Morning: Memoirs of the Second Exodus'

Outstanding !!! Amazing Sci.- Fi.scene !!! 5+
nice antique feel to the image. could be a cover from an old 1930's SF pulp magazine. very stirring words that accompany the image
What a great render!!! Reminds me of science-fiction story that I read when I was a young man. It was about an older advanced race that discovered us but would not gives the secret to faster than light travel. They thought they would deny us access to the rest of the universe. But at the end of the story they were stunned when we set out in millions of ships at slower than FTL speed. We weren't about to be denied the stars.
