Description
Hi Friends
I captured these two chimpanzees at play last Saturday (sadly) at the Johannesburg Zoo here in South Africa. I wish I could say that it was taken somewhere in the jungle of Uganda! I think these two are siblings and played for a long, long time. I shot many images, but liked this one best. The little one looks like she is smiling.
Thank you for popping in and for your much appreciated comments and favs on my 'Proudly Peacock' image of last night.
Stay safe.
Hugs, Carin xx
ps - The antibiotics has kicked in and my tooth is a lot better....

Very cool image!
I never met a simian I didn't like (from the movie, Planet of the Apes). Stellar shot of our closest cousins, Carin! Looks like they're having a grand old time. Time to smile again with the improvement of your tooth situation.
Lovely fun capture and they do look happy. Glad to hear that the tooth is on the mend.
Oh, sweet shot and I'm SO glad you're feeling better!!
they are cute and mimic humans so much in their behavior, or is humans mimicking them
Great capture Carin. I can see what you mean about taking a shot like this in the wild. Probably pretty difficult nowadays. Glad to hear your tooth is better. I had an infection of a pulled wisdom tooth in Germany in 1969 and had to re-schedule my ocean crossing by 2 weeks. To be able to take the pain I drank about a half a bottle of wiskey two nights in a row!
