Description
A supernova (plural: supernovae or supernovas) is a stellar explosion. They are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this short interval, a supernova can radiate as much energy as the Sun could emit over its life span. The explosion expels much or all of a star's material at a velocity of up to a tenth the speed of light, driving a shock wave into the surrounding interstellar medium. This shock wave sweeps up an expanding shell of gas and dust called a supernova remnant.

Shining flame!!!
Fabulous explosion !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx Whylma.
Coool image very well defined Im like this one!! I love stars!!
Great colour as usual! Nice interpretation.
Wonderful impressionistic image!
Awesome Image!! Fantastic Artwork!!
love the black light feeling here....nice work
Very beautiful work.
Brilliant.
Awesome work
Powerful image. Well done!!
Excellent!!!
Wonderful representation of a supernova! Bunny
looks like one for sure. wonderful colors
Merveilleux
very energetic flame Claude
You have written the description of a supernova .. and then painted the scene so beautifully in fractals! One can feel the power of the explosion!
Sublime cosmic image! Captures the feel of what a Supernova might be like. I would love to see you do a pulsar!
Ohhh this is fantastic Claude,it shines like a Supernova, powerful and so beautiful, wonderful description too!!:-)
Beautiful piece of art Claude ~
Beautiful and powerful!
Fantastic scene with excellent lighting and pose!!
