Here in South Africa turning 21 it is HUGE! The tradition is to hand the person a key (usually in gold) which simbolizes the unlocking of adult life. Well, the last people that were here for the party left a short while ago, everything is cleaned up and I am exhausted...

It has been a great day here with Ray's birthday and all!!! And yes over the past couple of decades the 21st has lost alot of it prominence with the age of majority being dropped to 18 in Alberta and 19 in the other western Canadian provinces. I think it depends on the legal drinking age. In Washington State, it's 21, so that's a big deal here. I didn't know Ray was yours! Learn something new every day. And imagine my surprise when I discovered we weren't "friends!" LOL! I guess it's official now - we can like each other. :) Happy Birthday, Ray!
